Main Burner Flame Pattern
Themainburneramewillbecompletelyyellow.
Main Burner Flame Ignition and Extinction
Whenthemainburnerisigniteditwilltakeafewsecondsforthefullamepatterntodevelop.
Whenthemainburnerisextinguisheditwilltakeafewsecondsfortheamestodisappear.Itisnormaltohavetheamesburndown
near the burner, as the remaining gas is burned.
MAIN BURNER FLAME CHARACTERISTICS
Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls. Wiring
errors can cause improper and dangerous operation. Verify proper
operation after servicing.
1. Removebatteries(4)andbatterypackfrominstructionenve-
lopepackage.
2. Slidebatterycoverplateoffofbatterypack,insertbatteries
(ensure correct polarity), and replace battery cover plate.
3. Connectredwirefrombatterypacktoredwirefromvalve.

Note:Thereplacemaybeoperatedwithouttheremoteby
connecting the brown control module wires to a wall switch. The
remote/off switch on the control module must be in the "OFF"
position.
